Elizabeth is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). She works with clients between ages 18 and 65 in diagnosis and medication management for depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, postpartum mental conditions, PTSD, OCD, ADHD among other mental health conditions. Elizabeth particularly has a passion for working with women and moms, as it relates to perinatal mental health issues including postpartum depression/anxiety, premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), fertility issues, and hormonal changes.
Elizabeth has completed both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing in Psychiatric Mental Health at the University of Pennsylvania. She has been working as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner since 2019 in settings of community mental health clinic (COMHAR), outpatient clinic and telepsychiatry practice. Elizabeth is well versed with psychotropic medications, mechanism of action and therapeutic modalities. Her approach is collaborative, inviting and compassionate. Elizabeth aims to educate and involve clients in making their treatment plan.
As an Asian American and Christian, Elizabeth has an appreciation and insight for social factors that impact one’s mental health including cultural influences, religious beliefs, socioeconomic status, and family dynamics. She enjoys working with patients of different backgrounds to help navigate mental health given these various factors. Elizabeth is married with 2 young children and is involved with her local church.
